The Chemistry of Life Program is a program within the Comparative Medicine Institute at NC State that aims to propel training and research at the interface of the molecular sciences and the life sciences through development of innovative coursework, undergraduate and graduate training, and the strategic growth of key research faculty across NC State, building the foundation for significant growth and external funding opportunities. Our program creates synergies with programs across campus to bring together molecular minded researchers at NC State and prepare students for the modern, interconnected world.
Over 40 faculty from four colleges are actively involved in the program, led by the College of Sciences, with key partnerships with the Biotechnology Program and the Global Health Program. We are also connected to the broader network of over 200 CMI faculty from across the Research Triangle. For information on the broader CMI, visit the website!
